Digital Light and Sound, LLC, formerly known as Digital Dreams Studios was established in 1993 by Fredrick Leicht. Digital Dreams Studios, Inc. worked in conjunction with Clear Channel Communications and Microsoft to develop NetShow, the technology to stream live events over the Internet. As a result, DDI began producing 104 KRBE Private Sessions which featured such artist as Sheryl Crow, Sting, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Rogers and many others. After Private Sessions, DDI worked for such clients as Al's Formal Wear and Norton Ditto for television commercial production. Today, Digital Light and Sound has relocated to Austin, TX and works as a production and post-production house for motion picture but continues to provide services for the television/radio industry.
